Mind Salon Series - WIN LDN x Laura Cloke: Development Workshops
Mind Salon Series - WIN LDN x Laura Cloke: Development Workshops
Date: 22nd and 29th June
Time: 6.30pm BST
Duration: 1 hour
In the past year, it’s been hard enough to feel in control of the everyday, let alone plan ahead for the future. For many of us, it’s meant focusing on getting by rather than getting ahead, putting our career goals and ambitions to one side.
But now situations are changing and our priorities are too. With a renewed energy to appreciate what is important and create careers that truly work for us, putting in place a personal development plan is the perfect first step.
WIN LDN are partnering with Career Fulfilment Coach, Laura Cloke, who will be hosting two separate 1-hour workshops, one designed for career pivoters and those in the early stages of their professional journey, and the other for those who are further along and want to hone in on their long-term goals.
Using tools and techniques from the world of coaching and her own personal development framework, Laura will help you to define success on your own terms and find fulfilment in your work.
Build Your Foundation for Career Success Workshop, Tuesday 22nd June: When you start out in your career or move into a new sector, there are so many ways to learn and develop, it can feel a little overwhelming. Figuring out how to take advantage of all the opportunities, take charge of your career development and do your job can feel like a lot.
In this workshop, Laura will share how you can create a consistent and impactful personal development practice that helps you to find opportunities for growth and development in the everyday, putting you well on the path to reaching your ultimate career goals.
Take Your Career to the Next Level Workshop, Tuesday June 29th: When you have several years’ experience under your belt, finding time to stay engaged with your personal development can be hard. Your development often shifts to skills such as communicating and influencing, prioritising work and home life, and adjusting to your new professional identity if you have taken on more responsibility.
This workshop is focused on exploring longer-term career goals and challenging your expectations of what your career can do for you. By the end of the session, you will be able to identify what you want from your career right now and what shifts you might need to make it happen, as well as having a practical action plan to make your goals a reality.
