OUR MISSION  

We seek to address the gender gap in innovation in the UK by promoting equality and diversity by the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of sex.

Across the global innovation industry, we believe that the UK and London is unique for its global reach and specialism in driving innovation across multiple markets and cultures. We strive to equip our beneficiaries with the skills to credibly promote equality and diversity within this global context.

We build a supportive environment for those who attend our events (which are open to the general public) to share knowledge and support one another. We encourage women of all levels to attend to facilitate access to mentorship (and reverse mentorship) for attendees.

OUR EVENTS

Since our founding in 2018, we’ve run 16 events in partnership with various London companies with over 650 attendees. We select our event topics based on 3 main criteria linked back to the root cases of the UK gender gap:

 
 

Educational Benefit
Does it address a specific knowledge gap or skills gap that research suggests can lead to systematic inequality in the workplace and broader society?

P2P Benefit
Will it facilitate the creation of supportive relationships across attendees which will scale beyond the event and enable the broader creation of supportive P2P networks that are committed to collectively addressing the gender gap?

Access to Mentorship
Can we engage senior women and men to attend to facilitate the creation of mentor-driven relationships and facilitate the creation of female-dominated inner circles long-term?

 
 

WHAT’S AHEAD

For the coming year, our focus will be on raising awareness and building of the broader issues that impact the gender gap in innovation and in society, specifically:

 
 

Equipping women with the leadership skills to promote equality in the workplace

Enabling discussion on how to prevent discrimination in the workplace

Co-creating a women-led point of view on the broader sustainability issues that are impacting our society as a whole
