JENNIFER BOVE

Jennifer believes that leadership is about creating the conditions for others to thrive, and that all good design starts with putting people first. She has over 20 years of experience designing products and services and leading teams globally, and she currently leads UX & Product Design for Salesforce.org, the social impact hub of Salesforce. Prior to joining Salesforce, Jenn was head of design for business banking & payments products at Capital One. She helped GE launch a global rebrand and design the Cooper Hewitt Pen, and co-founded the IxDA’s Interaction Awards to recognize and document design thought leadership and innovation around the world. She led design for voice and gesture-based interactions at Kicker Studio, a product design firm which she co-founded and managed for five years, and while at Kicker, she co-founded and produced the annual thought leadership conference Device Design Day. For many years, she established and grew research and design practices at leading design firms including Fjord, Huge and Schematic, focusing on talent and practice development as well as delivering business impact through design strategy and delivery.
Jenn has spoken and written about design in many industry and academic forums, including this short film by Microsoft. She taught design courses at California College of Arts and the School of Visual Arts, and has a master’s in interaction design from Interaction Ivrea. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband, daughter and cats.
