Edwina Fitzmaurice is an experienced and forward-thinking leader who has served as an executive and non-executive director on public, private and non-profit boards. Edwina was the CEO of Prudential Europe MSL (public), CIO of J.Rothschild International (private) and sat on the boards of both companies. She was a non-executive director on Platinum Regency Holdings and P&C Reinsurance which were privately held by St. Paul Reinsurance and Zambon Chemicals respectively and was involved from the outset of both companies in the establishment of the board governance. In the non-profit arena, Edwina has been the Chairperson for the Irish Computer Society and restructured the society and the governance during her tenure.  Edwina represented Ireland on the boards of the European Computer Driving Licence and the Council for European Professional Informatics Societies.  Edwina was a co-founder and board member of the Innovation Value Institute (professional body for innovation across Europe). Edwina has served in the community on the boards of Practice Makes Perfect (education for children) and Sunnyside Community Services (education and healthcare outreach for immigrant families).

Edwina is a senior Partner Principal in EY and has sat on the Global EY Consulting Board as the Chief Revenue Officer responsible for all of EY’s accounts and business development across 140 countries.  Edwina was responsible for growth in the Consulting business from $6bn to $11bn in revenue over a 5 year period under her leadership.  Edwina’s work with clients focuses on innovation, digital transformation and future working worlds powered by technology.   Edwina frequently plays a role as a key strategic advisor to the boards of public companies including a European airline, a Fortune 50 technology company and a major US agriscience company. Today Edwina is the Chief Customer Success Officer and Chief Product Officer in EY Technology, responsible for the development of EY’s technology products and platforms and a budget of $600M annually.  As Chief Customer Success Officer Edwina sits on the Global EY Technology Board and leads EY’s market facing technology business, representing 40,000 technologists across EY globally.  She is establishing a Human-Centric Innovation network of labs across EY globally in 2021 with centers planned in New York, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Brazil and Shanghai.

Edwina is a Fellow of the Irish Computer Society and has been named as a Top 100 Business Leader for the past 2 years by Irish America magazine.  She represents EY at the G100 and World50 and is an active member of Chief, a professional network for C-Suite women executives.  Edwina is the founder of the EY Educating Girls initiative and sponsors an orphanage for girls in the slums of Mumbai to allow the girls attend school and go to college.  Over 13 girls and young women from the orphanage are either already graduated from college or are attending college now.

Edwina earned her B.Sc (Computer Science) and her MA from Trinity College Dublin and she has attended executive education at Harvard Business School, Kellogg Business School, INSEAD Business School (Paris), the London Business School and Babson Business School.
