Seeking Exceptional Innovators and Changemakers

As we near the longest day of the year (midsummer we <3 you…), we are working on exciting, new things here at WIN. Our bold vision for WIN’s scale and impact is slowly becoming a reality and we are thrilled to announce that applications are now open for various positions, allowing more leading innovators and changemakers — like yourself — to get more involved.

  • Become a WIN Board Director. Be responsible for strategic oversight of WIN through the organization’s highest level, decision-making body. This role requires fiduciary and governance responsibility to steer the WIN organization towards a sustainable future by adopting ethical and legal governance, making sound financial management decisions, and ensuring that the nonprofit has adequate resources to advance its global vision and mission.

  • Become a WIN Advisor. Take on a strategic advisory role in forging new partnerships, creating bold innovation content, broadening the reach of WIN programming, and opening new fundraising opportunities. This role calls for a demonstrated professional and personal track record of advancing and supporting the WIN mission to close the gender gap in innovation.

  • Become a WIN Sponsor. Support our vision by investing in our mission or align your brand with ours as a WIN Ally. This model of engagement allows leading companies, foundations, and brands to make our impact possible through their generous contributions.

Our mission to close the gender gap in the field of innovation is (sadly) as relevant as ever. Only 25% of innovation firms are led by women, only 16% of top-rated innovation books on Amazon are written by women, and only 25% of Fortune 100 chief innovation officers are women. And yet there’s significant data that suggests that women make innovation and business better. Companies that have women in top management roles generate 20% more patents than teams with only male leaders. Women-led companies perform 3X better than the S&P 500. And $12 trillion could be added to global GDP by 2025 by advancing gender equality in business and innovation.

We’re looking forward to taking WIN to the next level as we become an international, professional nonprofit organization with a full-time Executive Director and broader resources to scale our impact globally.
