Founder Deb Belfatto has championed women’s health and wellness for more than 30 years, working to empower women, advance healthcare equity, and improve access to quality care. As Founder of Susan G. Komen North Jersey (1997) and its Executive Director for 16 years, she helped raise over $20 million for national breast cancer research and local community grants. After a second breast cancer diagnosis in 2021 (35 years after her first), she launched Let’s Talk Women’s Health & WellnessTM, a movement inspiring women to prioritize their health and become their own best advocates. It rests on five pillars: human connection, physical well-being, spiritual wellness, financial health, and mental health. The annual Let’s Talk symposium, which premiered at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in 2022, brings together leading experts, physicians, and wellness professionals.
