Sandra Baker Zarraga is a New York-based client serving Principal in EY’s Financial Services Office (FSO) Consulting practice. Sandra is leader in EY’s Technology Consulting practice with over 25+ years of experience in the financial services industry, specifically serving global banking and capital markets clients. She has worked with large global banks, wealth and asset managers, to develop their strategic vision and direction around digitizing business models and harnessing the power of emerging technologies to drive growth, competitive advantage, and operational efficiency. She has experience sitting at the intersection of business and technology, with deep transformation experience and business strategy acumen to drive transformational change across broad stakeholder groups. Sandra is a firm believer in mentoring and education and is dedicated to empowering our youth and women leadership talent. She is a leader and champion for EY’s FSO Consulting diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, specifically EY’s Women in IT (Win-IT) organization. She is a graduate of the Stern School of Business at NYU, with a concentration in Information Systems and Management and Organizational Behavior. Sandra holds several leadership positions in her NYU alumni network and local communities. She serves on the advisory Board for 5050 Women on Boards NYC and volunteers extensively with organizations such as Girls Who Code, NCWIT, Prep for Prep, and the NY Junior League. In her free time, Sandra enjoys yoga, hiking, and running (she completed the NYC marathon 3 times!).
Sandra is originally from the island of Guam and her Asian/Pacific Islander heritage has inspired her and transformed her leadership journey and day to day passion for DEI. She has been championing DEI accountability for her entire career. Sandra has three children, so she is very familiar with finding that ever elusive work/life balance.
