Chloe Alana Williams's
Path Through Innovation
Chloe Alana Williams is an innovation strategist, business leader and entrepreneur with more than twenty-five years of experience helping global organisations identify new growth opportunities and turn cultural and consumer change into commercially viable strategies.
Chloe is a Founding Partner of 8TH DAY, an independent strategy and innovation consultancy working with some of the world’s most recognized brands. She has built her career at the intersection of business strategy, human behavior and imagination, helping organisations move beyond incremental thinking to create propositions, experiences and brands that are culturally relevant and effective.
Before founding 8TH DAY, Chloe was Managing Director at Flamingo, where she led the business and oversaw complex strategy and innovation programs. She has lived and worked in New York and has led international projects with senior leaders, multidisciplinary teams and consumers across a wide range of markets.
Originally trained as an engineer, Chloe combines analytical rigor with creative problem-solving. Her work has spanned sport, beauty, health and wellness, luxury, drinks, consumer technology, household goods, financial services and retail. She has advised global businesses including adidas, Gatorade, Diageo, IKEA, L’Oréal, Netflix, SC Johnson and Ferrara across long-term innovation strategy, brand transformation, new product development, consumer understanding and organisational capability-building.
Throughout her career, Chloe has presented to executive teams and designed and led C-suite workshops focused on growth, innovation and organizational change. Her work helps leaders challenge inherited assumptions, identify emerging opportunities and make clearer strategic choices.
Chloe is also a thought leader on how modern adulthood is changing and what that means for global brands. Her work has named and mapped what she calls the Linear Life Assumption: the outdated milestone script, still embedded in how many businesses segment, target and speak to women, which assumes that life progresses through education, career, marriage, children and retirement in a predictable order.
Through her proprietary frameworks, Generation Zero and Kaleidoscope Lives, Chloe helps businesses build strategies, propositions and brand experiences that better reflect the reality of non-linear adult lives. She writes and speaks widely on the demographic and cultural forces reshaping adulthood and sees this shift as one of the most significant unaddressed opportunities in consumer strategy today.
Alongside her consultancy work, Chloe serves on the board of Women in Innovation and co-leads its London chapter, helping women working across innovation, strategy, design and transformation to connect, exchange ideas and progress their careers.
Chloe earned her B.Eng. in Manufacturing Engineering from Loughborough University and an MA with Distinction in Design, Strategy and Innovation from Brunel University. She has also completed executive education at RADA and Babson College.
Her career reflects a consistent ability to identify what is changing before it becomes obvious and help organizations act on it.
