kit krugman

Outside of WIN, Kit is Chief Curator at co:collective, a strategy and innovation company that is proud to boast equal female leadership at all levels. In addition to leading the Curation team on their quest to build dynamic teams, Kit leads client-facing projects that focus on talent strategy and employee experience design.

Both in and outside of work, Kit’s obsession is building future-facing communities, especially those with women at the helm. She has been published by Inc on compensation models of the future, why the future of team building is curation, and confronting the hierarchy dilemma. She has spoken at DisruptHR on moving from traditional HR to Employee Experience Design and participated in a panel on the Future Talent Models at Talent2030.

Kit is deeply committed to women in leadership and the policies and organizations that champion that cause. She has a B.A. from Yale in Literature & Art but is equally proud of her yoga teacher certification. When she's not doing yoga, Kit travels in pursuit of food, reads science fiction & fantasy and practices positivity.

katie burwick
secretary  I  Member OF THE BOARD

In her day job, Katie works at Fahrenheit 212, an innovation strategy and design firm, as an Associate. She believes business and brand are powerful tools to create positive change, and loves exercising this at both WIN and Fahrenheit.

With a love for storytelling (especially featuring strong women), Katie spent time in the Story Department at Warner Bros. Studios, and writes. She is also a photographer at heart, and approaches every challenge as if behind the camera, looking for unique angles that best bring a story to life. She specializes in portrait photography (you might see some of these on WIN’s website, blog, and social channels!), and leverages these skills to take portraits of friends, and for emerging businesses and nonprofits in her Portraits for Patriotism initiative.

Katie believes global perspective is crucial when solving challenges – especially when dismantling the patriarchy. Not only has she studied at the Universidad de Cadiz in Spain and the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, but she also worked as an investigative journalist in Israel and Palestine. She is always planning her next trip.

Outside of work, you can find Katie exploring her home of Brooklyn, reading in a cozy coffee shop (current read: All the Single Ladies by Rebecca Traister), playing soccer, watching 30 Rock, putting together the next WIN event, practicing yoga, or walking with friends. Katie graduated from Davidson College with a degree in History and a minor in Spanish.
