Outside of WIN, Maria is Vice President of Innovation at Citi and is responsible for leading mission-critical new product development for the Digital Customer Experience group.

Formerly - as a Fahrenheit 212 consultant - she created and launched market-disrupting products and services for Fortune 500, private equity portfolios, startups, and nonprofits. While at Fahrenheit, Maria built a social innovation practice enabling the company to stretch into new industries and experiment with new ways of working. Prior to that experience, Maria spent a few years getting an innovation capabilities program off the ground in the Nordics. Her role involved creating transformational learning experiences for senior executive teams and redesigning organizational processes at scale.

Maria is an experienced leader and a skillful facilitator capable of catering to a breadth of seniority levels and thinking styles. She has been invited to deliver keynotes and workshops at numerous industry conferences including Fast Company Innovation festival, NYC X DESIGN, and SXSW. Maria has also been honored to appear as a guest lecturer at Harvard University, New York University, and Parsons the New School.

Maria is a passionate traveller, lover of all things beautiful, and a girl-power believer. As Central Saint Martins and Goldsmiths College Alumn, she was happy to exchange London’s grey skies, for New York's bluebird days four years ago. In her free time, you can find Maria in a yoga class, at a gallery soaking up modern art, or hiking a mountain somewhere upstate with her young daughter Mila and partner-in-crime Lukas.
