KATIE BURWICK
Global Marketing Lead

Outside of WIN, Katie is an Innovation Strategist at Anomaly, an innovation and design firm. She believes business and brand are powerful tools to create positive change, and loves putting this belief in practice at Anomaly and WIN.

Prior to Anomaly, Katie was a Marketing Associate at Fahrenheit 212 where she helped capture the attention of potential clients and drive brand recognition for Fahrenheit. With a love for storytelling (especially featuring strong women), Katie spent time in the Story Department at Warner Bros. Studios. Katie believes global perspective is crucial when solving challenges. To this end, she has studied in Spain, Canada, and Scotland, and worked as an investigative journalist in Israel and Palestine.

Katie is a photographer at heart, and approaches every challenge as if behind the camera, looking for unique angles that best bring a story to life. She specializes in portrait photography (you might see some of these on WIN’s website, blog, and social channels!), and leverages these skills to take portraits of friends, and for emerging businesses and nonprofits in her Portraits for Patriotism initiative.

Outside of work, you can find Katie exploring Brooklyn, reading in a cozy coffee shop (current read: All the Single Ladies by Rebecca Traister), playing soccer, planning her next travel adventure, watching 30 Rock, putting together the next WIN event, practicing yoga, or walking around with friends. Katie graduated from Davidson College with a degree in History and a minor in Spanish.
