CEO, Common Impact
Danielle Holly is currently the CEO of Common Impact, a nationally-focused nonprofit strategy consulting firm that brings companies and social change organizations together to create meaningful change through pro bono service. Recently recognized in Buzzfeed for one of the “30 Big Ideas that Can Change the World,” Danielle has led the social sector movement to channel individual talents and superpowers as a force for good.
For the past 15 years, Holly has helped Fortune 100 companies shape their community engagement and investment programs, supported nonprofits in effectively leveraging service for strategic ends and built industry-leading tools that enable companies and nonprofits to work together effectively.
In addition, Holly is the host of the Pro Bono Perspectives podcast, a podcast that highlights the careers of cross-sector leaders. She is a contributing writer to Nonprofit Quarterly, where her weekly column analyzes the news from a nonprofit sector lens and focuses on corporate engagement and philanthropy, and has been featured in the Stanford Social Innovation Review.
Aside from her work at a rapidly growing nonprofit, Danielle is a frequent writer and speaker on the importance of civic engagement, innovation and transforming service into a strategic resource for our communities. She's active in local NY politics, and actively supports nonprofit journalism.
Holly holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from Fordham University and an MBA from the Questrom School of Business, Boston University.
Holly resides in Brooklyn, New York City with her husband and two children.
