When Alfia is not busy traveling the world for new inspiration and meaning, she is focused on her most important passion - her family. As a young mom in bustling New York City, she cherishes peaceful moments with her three children, reading Russian fairy tales, exploring new parks and museums, or baking salted chocolate cakes. Alfia was born in Moscow and takes deep pride in her Tatar-Russian roots. She loves to go back to her native Tatar village to reconnect with extended family over endless cups of samovar tea and folklore songs.
